Confession. I do this. But there are rules. I only do it in a restaurant where we have ordered a full pie (NY Style). I only do it with the first slice when it is piping hot. I pull the cheese, sauce, toppings into a pile with a fork. I add red pepper and parm to the crust and eat it. Then I eat the cheese/sauce/topping wad with a fork or pinched between chunks of cornicione. I think it comes from being a kid and having the cheese slide off when I tried to serve myself a slice. The following slices are consumed normally.

I think that is an ungodly amount of pepper plus it’s with out cheese, in addition I think the use of fork and knife for pizza in repugnant
